Tee Time
There are many golf courses in the Dominican Republic. The nearby Playa Grande Golf Course offers world class golfing along 340 acres of picturesque lush green coast line designed by the celebrated architect Robert Trent Jones Senior.
National Park
Los Haitises National Park is located on the North-East coast of the Dominican Republic and presents an alluring protected virgin forest. Since 2000 the park has been a popular destination for ecotourism. Haitis means highland or mountain range in the local Taino language, even though the elevation of the park’s hills only range from 30-40 meters. There are numerous caverns created by water erosion which are adorned with paintings by Native Americans.
Gri Gri Lagoon
The Gri Gri Lagoon is a good day trip for nature lovers. The lagoon is a beautiful nature reserve and home to many birds

Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo is the country’s capital and little more than an hour away on the new highway. It is packed with many monuments and landmarks as it is the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the Americas. It is a vibrant commercial and tourist centre with lots of museums, shopping malls, plazas, parks, recreational areas, theatres and sports complexes. |
